Tropicana Field and Tampa Bay Rays

They were considered the worst team in the MLB. They were named Devil Rays since their established in 1998. They changed their name before the 2008 season. They clinched their first AL East Division Chapion title. They are going to play their first play off game against the AL Central Division Champion, the winner of the extra game between the Chicago White Sox and Minnesota Twins. They are the Tampa Bay Rays.

Their home is Tropicana Field, one of the few domed stadium among the homes of MLB teams.

Fenway Park and Boston Red Sox

This is the most beloved ball park. This is the ball park which witnessed the rise and fall of a nation. This is the ball park which a curse happened and reversed. This is the ball park which is known of it's 37 feet high left field wall. This is Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox.

The Red Sox moved to Fenway in 1912, they won the World Series that year, then 1915, 1916, 1918, and they never won it until 2004. They said it was because Herman "Babe" Ruth, one of the most famous baseball player who had been traded from Red Sox to Yankess, cursed them, the so called "The Curse of Bambino".

The Red Sox was in the World Series in 1946, 1967, 1975, and 1986. But they lost all of them. In 1946, star shortstop Johny Pesky's relay was too late. In 1967, the Cardinals beat the Red Sox, despite Carl Yastrzemski's effort. In 1975, although Carlton Fisk hit a walk off homerun in the 12th inning of game 6, the Sox still gave up game 7 to the Reds. In 1986, game 6, bottom of the 10th inning, star firstbaseman Bill Buckner let a ball rolled between his legs, thus allowed the winning run scored from second. The Sox then lost game 7 to the Mets.

But the Sox came back at 2004. They entered the post-season by Wild Card. They swept the Angels at the ALDS, and, though trailed 0-3 to the Yankees, faced the elimination in the ALCS, they won four straight games and won the pennant. Several days later, they swept the NLCS winner, the Cardinals, clinched the World Series title.

Three years later, they came back again. The 2007 Red Sox post-season was almost the copy of their performance of 2004. They swept the Angels in ALDS AGAIN. They trailed 1-3 to the Indians in the ALCS, then won it AGAIN. They then swept the NLCS winner Rockies, AGAIN.

The Red Sox clinched Wild Card this year, and are going to take on the AL West Division Campion, Los Angeles Angels in the ALDS. Will they copy 2007 and 2004? Let's wait and see.
